A Word From The Author
Many people feel the need to Get Acquainted with the book of books, and to be conversant with its big ideas and major themes, but they have little time to study. It is my hope that this book will fill that need.
Some voices doubt that God has provided and preserved His message. This book gives God's defense of His power, desire, and success in making His message available to all men. Those that want proof and solid reasoning will appreciate the totally sufficient evidence that supports God's claims, commands, predictions and warnings.
My hope and prayer is that every reader will be able to understand that the Bible makes solid contact with the facts of history, that it explains the decrees of the true God, and that our purpose is found in knowing Him.
About The Author
Brian Tousley is the pastor of Faith Baptist church in Saint Anthony, Idaho. He was born in Terre Haute, Indiana and raised near St. Louis, Missouri. He graduated from the United States Coast Guard Academy in 1976, with a Bachelor of Science in Physics; the Naval Post Graduate School in 1981, with a Master of Science in Physics; and Temple Baptist Theological Seminary in 1997, with a Master of Ministry.
He served 20 years as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Coast Guard and was decorated for numerous innovative ideas he conceived and implemented. From 1982 to 1986 he oversaw the design, maintenance and restoration for the 600 lights and lighthouses on the Great Lakes. He also had leadership assignments in maritime search and rescue, navigation systems engineering, management analysis and personnel.
For 12 years he has been a pastor, restoring and starting small churches in Idaho. He is married with four children.
